DOS OPEN WATER SWIM

Open water swim on Barbados.

Swim Time :The swim would take place after the 5k sometime in the afternoon.

Course: The course is approximately 1.25k long across Carlisle Bay and swims parallel to the beach. It is approximately 1 Mile from where the ship docks. The depth of the water is between 5 ft and 30 ft. Swimmers are never more than 10-150 meters off shore. you can see bottom the entire time and are almost guaranteed to see turtles and small fish.

You can swim or just hang out at the beach.
