Afternoon Hash Run

Afternoon Hash Run: meet bus at the port 12:00 p.m.

A hash usually lasts about an hour and a half. It is not just a question of distance as there is a bit of going back and forth. The principal is the following. A trail will be set with blobs of shredded paper. As long as you are following the blobs you are on the trail. If you reach a circle with a blob in the centre you have reached a check point. From the here you must re-find the trail. However several false trails may have also been set from this point so the pack should split up and search each option, if a searcher reaches a cross after two blobs he has found a false trail and must return to the check point. Once someone has found three blobs of paper, he has found the correct trail, should shout back "On-On" to the following pack and its off to the next check point. You could also come across a "back-check", this is a bar and a number again marked in paper on the ground. This means you must go back the indicated number of blobs and check out the trail from this point. This all continues until you reach back to base.

Runners Give Back : We are asking runners to bring a book  to donate to the Antigua Public Library. The Library is in desperate need of books.
